Where to buy either fresh stock (400ft cans), short ends or recans. Best advice is to ring the supplier if you are after recans/short ends as the stock sells so quickly they do not always put these on their sites. Short ends/recans appear to be much more readily available in the US.
Here in the UK it is harder as the system is centred around the labs with regard to short end/recans and from personal experience and many phone calls, they are reluctant to sell to someone from "outside the industry"! However, buying fresh stock in 400ft cans is not a problem.

Unfortunately they have closed their German darkroom and now only provide this service in their Los Angeles facility. I had an email from Mark Breeze at Film Xchange GmbH to inform me. You can still buy normal cans etc. through them. |
